On December 21, 2020, our loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Mary Woloshyn, passed away at the age of 100 years and 9 months.
She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Delilah (Charles) Morgan, David (Lori) Woloshyn, Dennis Woloshyn, and Lyle (Debby) Woloshyn; seven grandchildren, Amber (Steve) Manchuk, Roxane (Shayne) Billey, Kelly (Bryan) Schienbein, Brendon (Nicole) Woloshyn, Bethany (Brock) Lehr, Katelyn Woloshyn and Ryon Woloshyn (Jenny Cruji); seven great-grandchildren, Xzander, Zachary, Ashley, Hayden, Katrina, Tyson and Courtney. She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley; her parents and 9 of her brothers and sisters.
Mom loved life, loved to dress and accessorize well, surrounded her home with grace, style and class. She was always so much younger than her years. She was very loved and admired by her relatives, friends and especially by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had created a beautiful bond with each of them and loved to be part of their lives. She was also very dedicated to her career as a hairdresser in the Derwent and area for 25 years. She delighted her extensive clientele by up grading her styling skills each year. Mom was always very creative and was able to design and sew beautiful outfits without the use of patterns, she loved her knitting, paper tole, puzzles and especially gardening. Her yard and flowers were always stunning. The most important part of mom’s legacy was her love and devotion for her family. We are so proud of her grand style, her sharp mind, her wit and her devotion and strength of her faith.
The family wishes to send thanks to Dr. Krista Lynn Bennett, the Venta Long Term Care and the Citadel Long Term Care facilities’ staff for their commitment and care, filled with comfort and dignity for our Mom.
The family regret that due to Covid 19 restrictions and limitations, a Private Funeral mass will be celebrated with only her children in attendance. For those wishing to view the service, it will be live-streamed through Mary’s Book of Memories at www.parkmemorial.com
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Mom’s favorite charity, the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
