MARY LOU BENTLEY (1941 – 2020)
Mary Lou Bentley went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Courtland in her 79th year. Mary Lou graduated from Victoria Hospital of Nursing as an RN. She spent many years nursing in Toronto working in the NICU and Dialysis Unit at Toronto Western Hospital and she also attended OBC Bible College. She was the daughter of the Late Ray Bentley and the Late Gertrude (Abell) Bentley. Dear sister of Lenor (Bentley) Robinson and Wanda (Bentley) Kenney (Ed) all of Tillsonburg. Mary Lou is also survived by her niece Susan Robinson (Al), nephews Jason Robinson (Arlene) all of the Delhi area, Nathan Kenney (Mavie) of Toronto and Nicholas Kenney (Lora) of Tillsonburg. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Special thank you to the staff and doctors at Caressant Care, Courtland for their devoted care. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service for Mary Lou will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 10:00 am with Pastor Gavin Michaels and Pastor Glen Meyer officiating. Cremation will follow with inurnment at Orwell Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to the Alzheimers Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or World Vision would be appreciated by the Bentley family.
