FOWLER, Mary
Passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at the age of 79. Loving mother to Betty Lawrence (Paul), Philip Fowler, and Vivan Fowler (Mike). Cherished Nana Frenchfry/Grandma to Lana, Shawna, Ashlee, Amanda, Roxanne, Riley and Dustin, and Great Grandma to Jaya, Adelee, Nodia, Skyla, Braelynn, Ma’Laya, Mileena, Lucas and Maddox. Beloved sister to William Byrne (Vivian), Peter Byrne (Sylvia), Marg Winsor (Sid), and Carmel Diniz, and sister-in-law to Linda Byrne and Reg Mercer. Mary will also be fondly remembered by multiple nieces, nephews, extended friends and family. She will be sadly missed by her little buddy Valek. Predeceased by her husband Jack Fowler, son Johnny Fowler, parents Violet and Richard Byrne, brothers Rick Byrne and James Byrne, sisters Eileen Mercer and Pearl Byrne, and nephew Bill Mercer. Resting at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge where family will receive friends on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 7 – 9 p.m. A graveside service will be held at New Hope Cemetery, 235 Cooper Street, Cambridge on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 11 a.m. In keeping with Ontario Healthcare Safety protocols, masks are required to be worn and social distancing protocols are to be followed.
