Obituary
It is with sadness that, after a short sudden illness we say farewell to our mother (MARY) ANN OAKE. She passed away at Bluewater Health on Tuesday July 14, 2020 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Max Oake (1986). She was born in Flowers Cove, Newfoundland. Her family moved to Corner Brook and then on to Montreal, Quebec. She and Max were married in Montreal in September of 1950 and then moved to Point Edward where Max had taken a job at Polymer Corp. and they began their life as a couple. They were parishioners of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Point Edward. Ann is survived by her three children Nancy Rampley (John) of Orangeville, Ont., Brett Oake (June) of Holyrood, Newfoundland and Dawn Sands of Sarnia, Ont. Ann enjoyed being with her 6 grandchildren, Greg Rampley (Amanda Starr) of Ottawa, Matt Rampley (Tanya) of Uxbridge, Emily Hassin (Mike Cryderman) of Newbury, Collin Hassin (Jasmine Coble) of Vancouver, Malcolm Hassin also of Vancouver and Clark Oake of St. John’s. They enjoyed being with her. She will also be missed by her 5 great-grandchildren Caleb and Caidra Rampley-Starr, Thomas and Zoe Rampley and Llewellyn Hassin. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the Paramedics, the Emergency Room Team at Bluewater Health, Dr. Greensmith and the team of caring nurses in Palliative Care. Arrangements entrusted to the D. J.
