Obituary of Marlene Beverly Walsh
July 27, 1941 – October 7, 2020
With great sadness the family announces the passing of Marlene Walsh at London, Ontario on 7 October 2020.
Loving and supportive wife of 60 years of R.T., Capt. Robert Walsh CD (ret.) 1RCR
Mother of Christina (Jim) Knaus, Robert Brian (Felicia) Walsh, Patrick (Cindy) Walsh.
Grandmother of William and Phillip Knaus, Katrina (Nathan) Hostland and Robert Walsh.
Great Grandmother of Evelyn and Wesley Hostland.
Marlene travelled extensively throughout Europe and Canada, as her Husband’s military career dictated.
A graduate of Fanshawe College’s Early Childhood Education program, Marlene was able to educate children in London On., CFB. Borden On. And Yellowknife NWT.
In retirement Marlene enjoyed gardening, baking and handicraft activities.
She served actively in the Royal Canadian Legion, Victory Branch, for many years.
A Celebration of life will be held at the Victory Branch Legion at a later date.
