It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marj on Friday Oct 9, 2020 as she was surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her son Tom, and parents Racheal and Reverend Thomas Parker. Survived by her loving children Nancy (Glenn) of Pitt Meadows, BC; Wilson (Isabel) of Montreal, Quebec; sister Shirley ( Alan) of Strasbourg, SK and grandchildren Cole, Ashleigh and Leah. She will be greatly missed by many friends and family.
Marj was born in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan. Marj was a Registered Nurse graduating from Regina General Hospital in 1959.
Marj filled her time between family, square dancing and the Church. Marj enjoyed spending her free time with her family and grandchildren. Marj would also be known for her fabulous square dance and crinolines galore. Marj dedicated herself to the Church (Royal Heights and Trinity United) through committees, UCW, Presbytery, Naramata Centre, and General Council. Marj was committed to her faith which resonated throughout her life as caring, serving and love to all.
There will be a Private family Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers donations to First United Church, The Alzheimer’s Society or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
