Marjorie Eleanor Messer
1931-2020
Marjorie E. (Gray) Messer of Harvey, NB, passed away December 23, 2020
at Wauklehegan Manor at the age of 89. Marjorie was born in
Kingsclear, NB, a daughter of the late Robert Michael and Florence
Grace (Pincombe) Gray.
She moved to Harvey with her husband Ronald and worked at several
local businesses including Swan Haven Nursing Home, Briggs and Little
Woolen Mill and Georgia Pacific Plywood Mill. Marjorie loved spending
time with her grandchildren. She was an avid outdoor person, enjoying
camping with any of the grandchildren she could jump in the car with.
Marjorie loved to sing and bake and was famous for her cinnamon
buns.
She is survived by her children, Anne Walsh, Peggy McCann (Donald),
both of Harvey, NB, James Messer (Kathy), Fredericton, NB, Lillian
Messer, Robin Messer (Julie), both of Calgary, AB and Nola Messer
(Edward), Fort McMurray, AB; her grandchildren, Keith Messer (Jolene),
Nathan Messer, Adam Sean Scott (Sue), Erin Scott, Nicole McGillicuddy
(Geoff), Chad McCann (Stephanie), Matthew Messer, Myles Messer, Amy
Messer (Devin), Katie Messer, Jewell Messer and Jaxon Messer; fourteen
great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Betty Messer, Eleanor
Messer and Pat Gray; one brother-in-law, Cyril Messer (Marilyn);
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ronald;
a son Donald; an infant granddaughter Shannon Messer; two sisters,
Jeannie MacNeil and Huldah Anderson; two brothers, John and Bruce
Gray.
Due to COVID 19 there will be no visitation or funeral at this time.
Interment will be held at a later date at Harvey Settlement
Cemetery.

to a charity of the donor’s choice.
