Obituary of Marilyn Waltham
(Nee Wilton Smith)
Feb 23, 1938- April 24, 2020
It is with extreme sadness and an unexpected passing of our mom and grandmother on this day at Strathroy Hospital. Marilyn leaves behind her mourning husband, Kenneth of 62 years. Mom can be with her beloved son, Clark whom she cherished everyday. Her heartbroken family consists of daughter Angela (Tom) Lethbridge. Her almost daughter-in-law Denise (Mike) Clark Hooper. Marilyn had 4 wonderful grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren who lit up her face every time she saw their pictures. Miranda (Mitch) DeBoer and their boys Hunter and Clark. Scott (Sarah) McCormack and Austin, Sadie and Tegan. Nikki (Jamie) Gagnon and their girls Elliana and Everleigh. Danielle McLean and boyfriend Levi. Marilyn also leaves behind a half sister Carol Pollock and sister-in-law Lela Smith. Predeceased were her brothers, Ray and Lloyd Smith and Robert, Ronald and Raymond Wilton. Both sets of parents. She also leaves behind many relatives, nieces and nephews.
A cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to DENNING’S OF STRATHROY. Consider a donation in memory of Marilyn to the Strathroy Middle General Hospital or the Alzheimer society. Online donations and condolences may be left at www.strathroyfuneralhome.com.
