Marie Lea Melanson

MELANSON, Marie Lea – Age 95, of Tideview Terrace, Digby, formerly of Little Brook, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2020 in Tideview Terrace. Born in Meteghan Centre, she was a daughter of the late Alphie and Evangeline (Saulnier) LeBlanc.
She is survived by children, Gerald (Jean), Angèle (Gilles) Comeau, Leonard (Dora), Bernard (Madeline); brother, Eddie; sisters, Emma Melanson, Therese Theriault; grandchildren, Ian, Rayanne, Chris, Colin, Kevin, Adrien, Colette; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren.
Lea was predeceased by husband, Donald; daughter, Lorraine in infancy; brothers, Alphonse, Bernard, Agno, Alfred, Antoine, Edward; sisters, Elise, Stella, Angele, Agnes.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Church Point, with Rev. Mathieu Agbaya officiating. Donations may be made to the Jacky Comeau and Friends Cancer Help Fund Association.
