Margery Young
1933-2020
Young, Margery Louise 86, Chester formally of Martin’s River
and Martin’s Point …..God has granted our Mom her last and final
wish, to be with our Dad. Mom passed away May 16, 2020, with her
family by her side. Mom was the daughter of the late Leon and Gilda
(Zwicker) Kaiser. Beside her parents she was also predeceased by her
husband Arnold. Throughout her life Mom was
involved in many organizations. She was a Girl Guide Leader, Boy Scout
Leader and Sunday School Teacher. She was a Diocesan Lay Reader
Working out of the churches of St Mark’s and St Martins, also she was
on Parish Council and worked as the Treasurer for St Marks for over
twenty years. She served as a Commissionaire for the Martin’s River
Fire Department. Mom would also be found with sewing needles, crotchet
needles or knit needles in her hands at any time. In the past few
years she knit many prayers shawls for the Church. Mom loved to travel
and was able to visit many destinations. But first and foremost a
homemaker. Earlier in life Mom was an employee of Rhuland’s Save Easy
and then retiring from Dr. Robert Ernst. Mom is
survived by daughter Patti (Thane) and son Terry (Vicky). Also she is
survived by six grandchildren; Sheena, Amber, Eve, Jessica (Matthew),
Nathaniel and Mitchell (Jennifer). .Also her pride and joy her six
Great Grandchildren; Ella, Ashton, Hayden, Lane, Ava ( her Sweet Pea)
and Elijah, (her little Man). Mom is also survived by “Special
Son” Harry Mosher. Funeral arrangements are
under the direction of R. A. Corkum Funeral Home Wileville. She will
be laid to rest next to our Dad at the Western Shore Cemetery, Family
flowers only, Memorial Donations may be made to Martin’s River
Volunteer Fire Dept. Due to Covid 19, cremation has taken place and a
memorial service will be held at a later
date. Special thanks to Dr. Catherine Kelly for
service above and beyond. Also, a big thank you to Teresa from Heart
to Heart for her excellent care and compassion to Mom in
her final days. To the girls from Lunenburg County Homecare; Shelley,
Marilyn, Tiffany, Holly, Marie and Corina we will be forever grateful
