Obituary of Margaret Lewis
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Violet Lewis announce her passing on Monday, December 7, 2020 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander at the age of 70 years. Margaret was born in Campbellton, daughter of the Late William and Lovelette Hill.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Harold, William and Enos; sisters in law Judy, Lucy, and Donna; father-in-law Lindsay Lewis.
Left to mourn with many loving memories her husband Spencer; daughters, Lori (Glen), Deanne (Tyler), and son Gavin (Wendy); grandchildren: Joel, Tyler, Sara, Blake, Sophie, and Owen. Brothers: Dorman (Marina), Harry (Jean), Reginald (Betty), Ward, Ted, Gord (Madge), Glenn (Darlene), Byron (Janice), Wayne (Catherine), sisters: Mabel (Randy), Veta (Arnold), Eleanor (Eric), mother-in-law, Annie Lewis, sisters in law: Inez, Melvina, Hazel (Wilson), Eileen (Cyril), Audrey (Bob), Louise (Boyce), Trudy (Lee), brothers in law Freeman, Bernard (Debbie), and a large circle of nieces and nephews’ other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to the staff of Gander Hospital and her special home support Workers Carolyn Quinlan and Andrea Quinlan. Resting at Families Funeral Home in Lewisporte Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 9th from 6-8 pm. Following COVID-19 Regulations.
Funeral Service will take place Thursday, December 10th, 2020 at 2pm for invited guest only (adhering to the COVID-19 restrictions, Interment to follow at St. John Anglican Cemetery in Baytona.
As expressions of sympathy donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to a trust fund set up for her granddaughter Sara.
