Obituary of Margaret (Shea) Ryan
Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, May 19th, 2020, in the presence of her loving and devoted family, Margaret Catherine (Shea) Ryan of Carbonear, aged 71 years.
Preceded only nine short days by her loving husband of 47 years, who was waiting for her, Gerard Ryan; also by parents: John and Margaret Shea; parents-in-law: Andrew and Dorothy Ryan; brothers-in-law: Leo (Bridget) Ryan, Paul Ryan, Michael Ryan, Charles Wilkinson, and Ronald Butler; sisters-in-law: Nora (Patrick) Ryan, Ellen (William) Bartlett, Agnes (Ben) Morrissey, and Philomena Whalen.
Leaving to mourn, her family who she loved ever so dearly, her two beautiful daughters: Kelly-Ann Ryan and Colleen (Rod) Clarke, both of Carbonear; four grandsons, who were her pride and joy: Ryan and Kadyn Coombs (their father Keith Coombs) and Andrew and Aaron Clarke; one sister: Mary (Rendell) Pike, Hr. Grace; one brother: John (Margaret) Shea, St. John’s; sisters-in-law: Rita Wilkinson, St. John’s, Barbara (Cecil) Walsh, Sarnia, Ontario, Pauline Butler, Annie Ryan, both of Cupids, and Clara Ryan, Marysvale; brother-in-law: James Whalen, Colliers; special niece: Heather (Randell) Sharpe, Upper Island Cove; three nephews: Edward Pike, Denny’s Pond, Paul (Gail) Pike, Hr. Grace, John F. Shea, St. John’s, and many other members of the Shea and Ryan families.
Cremation to take place. Due to the current pandemic, a visitation, Funeral Mass and inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Carbonear Academy Breakfast Program, 88 Valley Road, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A7 or to Burry Heights Camp and Retreat Center, 320 Elizabeth Avenue, St. John’s, NL, A1B 1T9.
