1942-2020
It is with deep sadness that we announce
the unexpected passing of Margaret Rose Polly
Savoie, age 78, of Amherst, formerly of Timber River,
NB. Margaret Rose passed away at home on Saturday, July 18,
2020.
Born in Shemogue, NB, she was a daughter
of the late Medley and Margaret (Wilson) Scott.
Margaret Rose was a member and strong
supporter of the Timber River Pentecostal Church. She loved
to knit and do puzzles.
She will be dearly missed by her
daughters Lee Ann Niles, Amherst, Kimberly (Sean) Boultbee, Prince
Edward County, ON, Kelly Futter, Sackville, NB; 4
grandchildren, Natasha, Miranda, Dawson, and Jenna; brother James
“Jimmy” Scott, Little Shemogue, NB; special friend Willa
McLellan.
She was predeceased by her husbands
Kenneth Polly and Leonard Savoie, sister Elizabeth Thomas, William
“Billy” Scott.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of Jones Family Funeral Centre,
70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where her funeral service
will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at 2 pm. Internment
will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery, Port Elgin, NB. In
keeping with COVID-19 restrictions, please wear a mask within the
funeral home and respect social distancing.
Should friends desire, memorial
contributions may be made to the Timber River Pentecostal Church, or
the charity of your choice.
