Obituary
Margaret Mary Whitten, passed peacefully away in her family’s presence after a battle with cancer, on July 20th 2020 at the Dr. L.A Miller Center. Predeceased by her father Gordon Whitten; her mother Kathleen Whitten (nee Walsh); and brother Billy Whitten. Leaving to mourn her sister Elizabeth Wells; brother George Whitten (Carol); special nieces Melissa Dwyer (Wells), Lisa Whitten (Karl); nephews George Whitten and Matthew Wells; great nieces Maggie Dwyer (Malachi), Emily Dwyer (Adam), Leah Lacey, Shanelle Whitten; great-great niece Maliyah Rees; Best friend Dawn Rowe (Paul). A special thanks to her home care worker Layne Rainley and the nursing staff at palliative care, Dr. L.A. Miller Center. The family will be accepting visitors from 5:00-9:00pm on Saturday, July 25, 2020. The funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel on Sunday July 26, 2020 at 2:00pm.
