Margaret Mary Ross
1922-2020
The death of Margaret (Fayle) Ross 98, occurred on Monday
November 2, 2020 at the Tabusintac Nursing Home. Born June 5, 1922 in
Tabusintac, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Gertude
(Savoy) Fayle. Margaret (Margie) was a devoted wife, mother,
grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Margie was well known in
the community for always having a pot of tea on the stove and fresh
baked goods in the oven. Everyone was welcome in for a game of cards
or a hot toddy. She could chat without dropping a stitch of
her knitting, all the while trying to figure out new ways to keep the
squirrels out of her many bird feeders. She was a member of
the CWL and a longstanding volunteer within the
community.
Margie is survived by her daughter; Elizabeth (the late
Lachlan) Hargrove, grandchildren; Joanne (Jeff) MacDonald and Lynn
Hargrove, and great-granddaughters; Monica, Lauren and Sydney as well
as extended family.
She is predeceased by her husband Edward Ross, daughter
Sharon, son Lewis, and siblings Clara (Kay), George, Jean, William
(Bud) and Dorothy .
Margie did not like a fuss, and it was her wish not to have a
formal funeral. She will be buried in her beloved
Tabusintac, alongside her husband of over 45 years, Edward.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Tabusintac Nursing
Home for their excellent care and kindness.
