Marcel Melancon Friday February 21st 2020

In Loving Memory of Marcel Melancon.
Marcel passed away February 21, 2020. Today we celebrate the life of Marcel Melancon and his many accomplishments. Through dedication and hard work, Marcel gave 100% of himself. His commitment to his wife of 62 years was evident in every action and every word. He would address her with the following ‘Mon petit Coeur. Eldest of six children, he left his home in Quebec to start a new life in Ontario. He started at Inco in 1964 and retired in 1991 with 27 years of service
He is survived by his wife Therese, his children Jocelyn (Brenda), Manon, Carole (Denis), Stephane, Marie-Therese (John) and Louise (Paul deceased) and his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Normand Jr. (Cheryl), Amanda (Eric), Chantal (Grant), Eric, Stephane, Robert, Kamyl, Sophie, Roseanne, John Jr, Marie-Louise, Micheal (Kathy), Elizabeth, Kristopher, Neomie, Chloe, Mackennah, Jayden, Olivia, Noah and Mila.
He taught his children the value of a good days work. He demonstrated this through his woodworking skills, his farm and his love of animals. He will continue to live in our heart through our lives and actions. We would like to thank the staff at the Elizabeth Center for the excellent care received. Their devotion and love compares to none. They cared for him as though it was their own father.
