Malcolm Lyall Philip Closs-McFee, 11 months of North Bay, Ontario, passed away on Sunday June 28th at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario
Malcolm was born in North Bay Ontario to Carolyn Closs and Dylan McFee on July 8th 2019. Malcolm enjoyed every moment he had with his sister Kaylin, he loved driving his car up and down the hospital halls waving and clapping for anyone who passed by. He was truly the definition of strength. Throughout his 7 months at CHEO he was always smiling and was a floor favourite. Malcolm is survived by his sister Kaylin, Mom Carolyn, and Dad Dylan. Grandparents Carrie Lynn and Ralph Closs of North Bay Ontario. Grandparents Hallie Webster and Gary Birkitt of Coldstream British Columbia. Great Grandparents Carol and Dave Coughlin of Corbeil Ontario. Great Grandma Jennifer Webster of Coldstream British Columbia. As well as his many Aunts and Uncles and loving family members.
In lieu of donations please donate blood in Malcolm’s honour. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the CHEO staff and the 4North nurses and doctors.
Visitation will be held at Martyn Funeral Home on Friday July 3rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm as well as Saturday July 4th from 10am-2pm. A private service will be held.
Under current pandemic directives, set by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, those wishing to attend visitation must telephone the funeral home at 705-472-8810 to arrange a designated time. Please provide your own mask which must be worn while visiting the funeral home.
