Obituary
Maddison Ann Grace Tibbetts, born on April 19, 2018, went home to be with Jesus, being snuggled in her mother’s arms at the IWK on January 4, 2020. She was a hugger and would not let you go without a smile and blow you a kiss. She loved her MooCow and left huge footprints on everyone’s hearts.
She is survived by her mother, Cristy Gormley, her father Joel Tibbetts; her two sisters, Sophie in British Columbia and Acacia Lee; her two brothers, Andrew (her protector) and Carter, all at home. As well, her maternal grandmother, Tracey Lee LeBlanc of Rothesay NB; maternal grandfather, Ronald Gormley (Robyn) of Nerepis NB; paternal grandfather, Blake Tibbetts (Linda) and family, of Saint John, NB; paternal Grandmother, Kathy Brown (Lloyd); great grandparents James & Sandra MacFawn and Nancy Gormley, all of Saint John; Aunt Sarah Brown and Uncle Colin Brown of Saint John; Uncle Davey (Danita) MacFawn of Grand Manan, NB; Uncle Corporal John Gormley (Holli); Aunt Chantelle Gormley (Kevin Pelletier); Great Uncle Aaron Gormley of Saint John; Aunt Ashley Gormley of Fredericton, NB; cousins, Sophia and Emmett of Edmonton AB and Isabelle of Edmundston, NB.
Maddison was predeceased by her great grandparents, Arthur & Louise Culley, Freeland & Pleasance Tibbetts and John Gormley.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 11am from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, with a reception to follow in the Fundy Funeral Home reception centre. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations made in Maddison’s memory to the IWK or to Dalhousie School of Medicine or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
