Lynda Richardson
1955-2020
Richardson, Lynda May passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 28,
2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener. Lynda is predeceased
by her parents John and Violet Martin (Dudley). Lynda will be missed
by her husband Paul, sons Dean and Ian (Meghan) and daughter Samantha.
She will also be missed by her Brother Jim Martin (Sue), sister
Katherine Pfeffer (Rob) as well as her niece Chrissy Farr (Kevin) and
nephew Jason Martin (Lisa).
Lynda loved cooking, baking, and working in her gardens. She was known
for her very large vegetable garden and rhubarb patch; if the sun was
out so was she. Lynda also had a love for two wheels, which is how she
met the love of her life! Paul joined her and the Canadian GoldWing
Owners where they went on many cross-country trips. She continued to
support charities for many years like the Ride for Sight supporting
the blind. Since their romance was based off their love of
motorcycles, it was only appropriate that they got married on
Paul’s Honda GoldWing with their entire motorcycle club
chauffeuring them from the chapel to the reception; where they
actually drove the motorcycle into the hall in the town of
Plattsville. It was a wedding all will remember! Having three kids
didn’t stop her love of riding; instead she had a custom side
car made so that the whole family could enjoy and partake in her
biggest joy in life.
Lynda was a selfless, caring woman who touched so many peoples hearts
over the years. She was a woman who didn’t ask for much, and
would offer all she had to someone in need. She will be remembered by
all her in-laws, nieces and nephews near and far and even a few family
friends who considered her to be like a second mother to them.
Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Corbett Funeral
Home Cambridge (519) 740-0669. In these uncertain times a celebration
of life will be postponed and announced at a later date when it is
safe for all to attend.
