Lynda’s Obituary
After a brief, but courageous battle with cancer, Lynda Kosar, beloved wife of Dmytro Kosar of the Amsterdam District, passed away at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK, on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at the age of 66 years.
Lynda was born on January 10, 1954, to George and Mary (Boychuk) Stefanowich on the family farm in the Beaver Bank District, near Sturgis, SK. She attended Sturgis School.
Throughout her life, Lynda worked many odd jobs, while taking care of her family and her animals. She loved being out on the farm and spending time with her grandchildren and family. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, and spent an abundance of time maintaining her yard, flowers, and her pond.
With a social nature, Lynda always appreciated the opportunity to enjoy company and a cold Pilsner with neighbours, family and friends. Even with people she just met, she still enjoyed having their company and offered them a cold beer, shot, or food.
Lynda will be remembered for her friendly nature and her love for family, friends and animals. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is gone but will never be forgotten. Vichnaya Pamyat – May her memory be eternal.
