Obituary for Lloyd DeBot
Lloyd John Louis ‘Louie’ DeBot, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at the Wallaceburg Retirement Residence on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the age of 88. Lloyd was the son of the late Leon & Marie (Stevens) DeBot. Beloved husband of Aileen ‘Coc’ (Coveny). Cherished father of Lynn DeBot, Janet DeBuck (Montie) and the late Kevin DeBot (Deb). Grandfather of Amanda DeBot (Matt), Adrianna DeBot (Kyle), Cody Regnier and Zachary DeBot Neufeld. Brother of the late Albert DeBot (Annie). Lloyd was a dedicated farmer, tilling mostly in Chatham Gore and Walpole Island First Nation. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Friday, March 13 at 11 AM. A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow at the Cavanagh Reception Centre. The burial in Riverview Cemetery will take place at a later date.
