My dad, Lionel Bremaud was a born farmer, he loved his farm and everything farm life. He grew up on his father’s farm and then acquired a farm of his own in partnership with his brother on which he farmed since 1974. Up at the crack of dawn every morning to feed his cattle and cats and dog and checking his fields and fences regularly. It was his pride and joy.
My final text message to my dad was “Good Monday morning Dad. It’s been snowing everyday for the past week. Might as well snow and stay permanently and get an early summer next year. “To which he replied, “GM. Yup it snows and melts.”
I am so honoured to have gotten to spend a final Thanksgiving with him, where he said a payer for me. Thank you, Dad. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. You are very missed. The remarkable person you were, your humanity, your kindness and compassion for others will be imprinted in my soul and many people’s souls.
Love you dad. Rest in Peace forevermore. Go with GOD Dad! Until we meet again!
Funeral arrangements are pending.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Lionel
