Obituary of Linda Marie Rogers
Mrs. Linda Marie Rogers was born on November 7, 1947 in Sus, NB; she was the daughter of the late Melbourne and Marie (Moore) Campbell.
Linda was the Matriarch of her large and extended family. She devoted her whole life to caring for others but especially her family. She helped raise her siblings, her children and grandchildren and even her nieces and nephews. She took great pride in the fact that she was the caregiver for so many. If she stumbled upon someone in need and she had something to give – she was the first to volunteer. Always giving of herself. She would never see even a squirrel go without.
Her children and grandchildren lit up her life. She had a generous heart, a kind soul and a contagious smile. She loved practical jokes, music and loved to laugh. Linda greatly enjoyed knitting and jigsaw puzzles, bingo and fishing. She had her own special name for everyone.
She will live on in the hearts of her children: Daryl Campbell of PEI, Charlene MacKeigan of PEI, Mike Berry and his wife Trish of Fredericton and Rhonda Berry-Cleghorn and her husband Jason of Waasis; her grandchildren: Joseph Smit and his wife Mandy, Curtis Smit and his fiancée Ajia, Jayce Cleghorn, Emma Cleghorn, Samantha Berry and Weston Berry; her great grandson, Braydon; her siblings: Wanda Guske, Margaret Campbell of Hamilton, Rowena Whelan (Ivan Brown) of Quispamsis, Karen Campbell (Wayne) of Norton, Shelley Hurtubise of London and Francis Campbell (Chris) of Halifax; her close nieces and nephews: Randy “Rastis” (Jenn), Jennifer, Stacy, Andrea (Taylor, Tori, Teegan “Teegi”) Rachel, Janet and Jenny; as well as several other extended family members.
Mrs. Linda Marie Rogers of Sus passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 18, 2020 at the age of 72.
Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings: Dorie, Ruth and Max.
