1936-2020
The death occurred at Western Hospital, Alberton on Saturday,
December 12, 2020 of Leta Addie Cain of O’Leary formerly of
Springfield West aged 84, wife of the late Emerson Cain. Leta was born
in Springfield West on November 26, 1936, daughter of the late Wilbert
and Ruth (Silliker) Currie.
Cherished mom to Cathy (Ian) MacMillan, O’Leary; Wendy
(Michael) Greer, Fredericton, NB and Paula Cain (Ken Jordan),
Fredericton, NB. Loving nanny to 8 grandchildren and 7 great
grandchildren. Dear sister to Shirley Lidstone, Cascumpec and Thelma
(Melvin) Betts, Springfield West, sister in law to Elwyn (Sylvia)
Cain, Summerside and Lorne Collicutt, Charlottetown. Leta is also
survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great
nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, husband Emerson and daughter
Barbara Jean in infancy.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with
completed arrangements to be announced.
