Leonise “Leona” Marie Adams
1925-2020
Adams – The death
occurred surrounded by her loving family at the Garden Home,
Charlottetown, on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, of Leonise
“Leona” (Richard) Adams, of Summerside, aged 95 years. Born
in Mont Carmel, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Rosie
(Gallant) Richard. Survived by her children Diane Rumple, Beverly
(Art) Nicholson, Edward (Marlene), Cathy (Danny) Hannigan-Cranton,
Paul (Karen) and Susan (Frank) MacDonald; 13 grandchildren; several
great and great-great-grandchildren; brother Cecil (Lena) Richard;
sisters-in-law Marie Richard and Mary Lantos; and by a brother-in-law
Robert “Bob” Adams. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Adams;
companion David Larkin; a sister Teresa Rapp; and by brothers Willie
and Alcide Richard. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside,
then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for a private family
funeral mass. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
Memorial donations to the Garden Home Activity Fund would be
appreciated.
