1935 – 2020
Len Welk, loving husband of Shirley for 65 years passed away on December 5, 2020. Predeceased by his parents Ferd and Clara. Left to cherish his memory are his children Brad, Lyle (Cathy), Kellie (Jeff), and Dwain, his sister Adeline (John), grand children, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Len and Shirley designed and built their house in 1965 which they lived in for over fifty years and raised their four children. He was employed with Federated Coop for 27 years after which he owned and operated Specialty Fixtures. They enjoyed travelling and Len loved their cabin at Sturgeon Lake. He liked cross country skiing, fishing, hunting, golfing and woodworking. He was a member of the German Club, Royal Canadian Legion, Saskatoon Men’s Chorus and Orpheus 60 Chorus. He was an active member of Resurrection Lutheran Church. Due to the pandemic, his service will be held at a later date. Condolences for the family may be left at www.saskatoonfuneralhome.com .
