Leonard Marvin Hagen
On August 8, 2020, Leonard Marvin Hagen of Mayerthorpe, AB, formerly of Wabamun, AB passed away at the age of 87 years.
Leonard is survived by his two daughters and one son, Carol (Bert) Graff of Whitecourt, Darrel Hagen of Darwell and Cheryl (Steve) Miner of Mayerthorpe; grandchildren, Tara (Brad), Alana (Dillan), Jameson (Jess), Stuart (Sara), Darren (Steff), and Darcy; six great-grandchildren; sister, Ella (Jerry); and many more dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Ann (nee Milburn) (2014); parents, Oscar and Helga; brothers, Melvin (Fluff) and Earl.
Marvin was born to Oscar and Helga Hagen on September 25, 1932 in Retlaw, AB. He grew up on the family farm in Athabasca. He married Ann Milburn in 1960, and they raised their children first while working in road construction, then after receiving his welding ticket, the family settled in Wabamun. Marvin worked for many years at Manalta Coal before retiring in 1992. Marvin will be best remembered for his natural musical talent, and especially for playing the violin.

A private family ceremony will be held. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made directly to Canadian MPN Group, 435 Saint Laurent Boulevard, suite 199, Ottawa, ON K1K 2X8.
