Leo Gerald Veno (Deed) husband of Mary (Lyons) Veno of Doaktown passed away at his late residence on May 1, 2020 at the age of 73.
Born on July 15, 1946, he was the son of the late Leo and Carmel Veno.
Besides the love of his life Mary of 40 years he is survived by his sons, Leo Murray Veno (Kayla) of Hinton Alberta, Shawn Veno of Calgary Alberta and Philip Lyons; daughter-in-law, Tracey Veno of Calgary Alberta; his sisters, Effie Colford (Perley) of Doaktown and Essie Peterson of Doaktown; his brother Fred Veno of Doaktown and his grandchildren Abel, Nathaniel and Sabrina.
He was predeceased by his parents, sister Phyllis Basque, brother Wille John Veno, nephews Barry Joseph (BJ) Colford, Ricky Veno, niece Tammy Veno and sister-in-law Marie Veno.
Leo was a simple man, who never asked for much.He enjoyed his Tim Hortons coffee and smoke, he was well known for his blueberry picking in summer, which he enjoyed.
At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date with Reverend Paul McGrattan at St. Thomas Cemetery, Doaktown.
