Lenley’s Obituary
ROSS, Lenley Warren – 89, formerly of Clam Point, passed away in Bay Side Home, Barrington on November 30, 2020. Born in Clam Point he was the son of the late Uriah and Florence (Nickerson) Ross. Lenley was a fisherman all of his life. His other passions in life were deer hunting, cutting wood, but most of all, his family. Lenley is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Beverly; daughter, Stephanie; grandchildren, Wesley, Haley; great-grandson, Westin; brother, Wentzell (Margaret); sisters, Catherine Shand, Frances (Claredon) Nickerson; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Norman, Landon, Minard, George, Bradford; sisters, Elizabeth, Leona, Dorothy, and Lois. There will be a visitation held, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, where the funeral service will follow on Monday, Dec 7, 3 p.m., with Cecil O’Donnell officiating. Due to Covid-19 restriction, seating may be limited and social distancing guidelines must be followed (Immediate family will be given priority for seating). Due to limited seating the service will be live streamed on the funeral home website. Interment to follow in the Atlantic Cemetery, Stoney Island. Family flowers only.
