Dieppe, NB— Laurie Maillet, 95, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont university hospital centre on Tuesday, February 25th, 2020.
Born in St-Norbert, he was the son of the late Edouard and the late Suzanne Maillet (born Léger).
Laurie will be dearly missed by his daughter, Viola Gaudet (Paul) of Dieppe; one sister, Anita Jaillet (late Edgar); several step-brothers and step-sisters; three grandchildren, Michel (Lynn), Denis and Gilles (France); four great grandchildren, Julien, Luc, Isabelle and Maxime; also by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, André and Emerie, and by four sisters, Lina, Rita, Flora and Marie.
Visitation will be held at Passage in Shediac Bridge, on Saturday, February 29th, 2020, from 9am until time of the Celebration of his life at the chapel at 11am.
Donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or to a charity of your choice.
