It is with
great sadness that I announce the death of my dearest wife of 51
years, Laura Gimpel (Bulger), who passed peacefully at home on
Saturday, May 30th, 2020 at the age of 75. Laura was born on November
12th, 1944, in Shippagan NB to the late Pierre and Clara Bulger
She is survived by her husband Frank Gimpel, her brother
Cloris Bulger, and her Aunt Marie Laura Mallet (Chaisson), also from
Shippagan. She also leaves to mourn many cousins, nieces, and
In addition to her parents, Laura is predeceased by her son
Paul Bulger, grandson Travis, brothers; Sylvio, Emilien
“Emile”, and Martin, sisters; Patricia, Elisabeth
“Betty”, and Alicia.
A special thanks to Doctor Paula Carmichael, the Extra-Mural
staff, and to the hospital staff. I would like to thank my neighbors
Robert and Sharon Stewart, and to my special friend Donna Golden I
would like to extend a big thank you for being there for
By Laura’s request, there will be no visitation or
funeral service. Her final wishes were to be cremated which is in the
care of McAdam’s Funeral Home. For those who wish, donations
in Laura’s honour may be made to a charity of
donor’s choice.
