AUCHINLECK, Laura – Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, Laura Auchinleck age 79 years. Predeceased by husband Wallace, 1988; parents: Frank and Lydia Bond; sister Rhoda Pope. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Randy (Christina); daughter Sherry Turner (John) of Mississauga, ON; grandson Wally, who was her pride and joy and Brendan Kelly who was like a grandson to her; sister Freda Kennedy (Jim); brother Ron Bond (Ann); the Kelly and Auchinleck families; as well many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation to be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday from 11am to 2pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. COVID-19 government restrictions are to be followed. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Visit www.barretts.ca to send a condolence to the family.
