Kristen Nicole “Kris” Beaton
1987-2020
Beaton, Kristen Nicole “Kris”, 33, Onslow Mountain,
Col. Co. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we have to
announce the tragic passing of our beautiful angel Kristen Nicole
Beaton and her unborn, baby Beaton, on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Kristen
lived in Onslow Mountain with her husband Nick Beaton and her pride
and joy Daxton Anthony Beaton. Kris was born in North River on March
20, 1987 and is the daughter of Wade Roode, North River, and the late
Lisa (Cameron) Roode, who sadly passed away 6 years ago. She would do
anything that would put a smile on Daxton’s face and would do anything
to get the family together for family BBQ at the camper which was her
most favourite place to go. Kris’s greatest accomplishment in her
short life was her son Daxton. Kris loved that boy more than life
itself.
Besides her husband Nick and her son Daxton, she is survived
by a sister Kayla Roode (Kelsie Newcombe), Truro; brother Rick
(Shannan) Roode, Belmont; Grandparents Bonnie Roode, North River,
Randall & Sybil Cameron, Middleton; brother in law Jacob
(Katherine) Beaton; nephews, Cooper & Easton Beaton, Truro;
Other mother Bev Beaton, Belmont.
Besides her mom Lisa Roode, she was predeceased by her
grandfather Eugene Roode; Grandmother, Joan Cameron; father-in- law
Tony Beaton. Kris was the crafty girl in the family that made us all
the most memorable gifts she was so thoughtful in that
way.
We want the memories of Kris to be happy ones. Kris would
want to leave a smile on everyone’s face. To remember Kris not for how
she passed. But celebrate how Kris lived her life. Kris was always her
daddy’s rock & anchor in life. Kris was daddy’s little
princess. We count the stars by the thousands birds & flowers
to. But in this big old world there was just one MOMMY like you. Kris
always encouraged everyone to show “their” true colors like
a rainbow. Kris’s smile and laugh made even the darkest days bright.
Nick got this Kris he will Love & cuddle Daxton tight and
guide him through his life. While you dear Kris can rest cuddling and
loving your new baby. Kris enjoyed her work with the VON but she loved
her clients like they were family always went the extra mile for them.
Your bright light will shine in Daxton’s
heart.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we ask for no visitors at
this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will
be announced.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Donations in memory may
