Ken Evans 1953 2020

Obituary of Ken Evans
Ken Evans, beloved husband of Judy Evans of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2020 at the age of 67 years.
Ken was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on February 23, 1953 and married Judy on October 7, 1978.
Ken graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in Engineering and worked with the city of Calgary until his retirement. Ken was an avid car and airplane enthusiast. He was the proud owner of a collection of domestic and international car magazines, which he spent over 50 years collecting.
Ken is survived by his loving wife, Judy; brother-in-law, Jim Polukoshko; brothers, Ted (Denise) and Bill (late Sharon); nieces and nephews, Erin and Andrew, Dan (Marlise), Neal, Celine (Tony), Nadine (Owen) and Murielle (late Katy); and sister-in-law, Linda.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Gracie and Eddie; sister, Gail; and mother-in-law, Shirley Quirk.
A Celebration of Life is planned when determined it can be held safely.
For those wishing to express their condolences, and in lieu of donations, the Evans family ask that you make an extra effort to reach out to a loved one and support them in your own way during this difficult time. Ken and I would appreciate that.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff in Urology at Rockyview General Hospital, Foothills Medical Centre and Home Care.
Ken and his ‘quirky’ sense of humour will be forever in our hearts and will be sadly missed.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ken
