Katherena “Kathy” Murney, beloved wife of Gilbert, passed away on Monday, October 5th, 2020 at the age of 80 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, “Gib”; children, Wanda Lazar of Medicine Hat, Dean (Kate) Murney of Devon, AB, and Rosa Murney of Calgary, AB; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Helen Werezak; one brother, and grandson, Austin Lazar. A family graveside service will take place in Saskatchewan at a later date. Memorial gifts in Kathy’s memory may be made to Alzheimer Society, 201, 770 – 6th Street SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4J6.
