Katharina Feth
July 01, 1932 – December 10, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Katharina Feth announced her passing at home in the presence of family on December 10 2020 in her 89th year.
Leaving to mourn her beloved husband of more than 69 years, Otto who was the love of her life. Katharina also leaves behind four children, Harald, Richard (Edith), Evelyn Bieri, and Ruth (Ray) Kowalchuk, and her six grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Kersten, Jennifer, Katrina and Terence.
Katharina also had seven great grandchildren who she adored.
She is survived by her siblings Grete and Lene, and a great number of nephews, nieces and their families as well as neighbors and friends.
She was predeceased by her parent’s Philip and Katharina Pfeiffer and 4 brothers and her sister Elisabeth.
Katharina was born July 1, 1932 in Ritzki, Yugoslavia to Philip and Katharina Pfeiffer. When she was 6 years old the family moved to Osijek, Yugoslavia. In 1946 her family moved to Karlsruhe Baden as refugees after the Second World War.
Katharina studied hairdressing from 1947-1950 and became an accomplished hairdresser.
She met her beloved husband Otto Feth in 1948. She told her mother a year earlier that she could love this handsome blonde man when she saw him at a home church gathering. They married July 28, 1951.
Harald was born in Germany two years later. The young family immigrated to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1954. Richard, Evelyn and Ruth were born in Hamilton.
Katharina fervently supported Otto as a pastor starting up the Oakville German Pentecostal church while he was working full time at the Ford Motor Co. The family moved to Oakville in 1962 where she lived for the remainder of her days.
Katharina was a wonderful Oma to her six grandchildren, Christopher, Ashley, Kersten, Jennifer, Katrina and Terence. She was also an Uhr Oma to seven.
She will be greatly missed for her wisdom, guidance, advice, support and gentle temperament. Her unending love towards her husband and family we will cherish and remember. Her beautiful, infectious smile that could light the room will be in our memories.
Our sweet and beautiful angel is now in Heaven in the presence of our Lord Jesus.
Katharina will be missed by her family and friends.
