It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Julia Florence Casavant of Legal, Alberta on November 2, 2020 at the age of 80 years.
Julie will be lovingly remembered by her son, Dean (Lynette); daughter, Carol (Daryl) Popeniuk; grandchildren: Emily, Marina, Eric and Lexi; sister, Cecile Vion, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Andy of 55 years; brothers, Marcel and Leon; sisters, Lucille D’Heer, Denise Tieulie and her parents, George and Florence Schayes.
Due to COVID – 19 Restrictions a Private Family invitation only, Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at St. Emile Catholic Church, Legal, AB.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Julie’s name to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 202 – 11227 Jasper Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5K 9Z9 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 5241 Calgary Trail NW Suite 144, Centre 104, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8
