Jules’ Obituary
Julius Wancho, long time resident of Grimshaw (AB), passed away in Grimshaw on July 10, 2020 at the age of 74 years.
Jules was born on August 11, 1945 in Camrose (AB), where he grew up in the Round Hill Area and went to school in Bawlf (AB). When he finished school, Jules tried farming the property that belonged to his parents. Farming turned out not to be what Jules wanted, so he ventured out to Peace River to work on the NAR with his Aunt Annie. After leaving NAR, Jules took on various labour jobs in Peace River and this is where he met Maxine. They fell in love, married and moved to Grimshaw (AB). Jules had recently retired from the Peace River School Division where he worked in Maintenance for many years.
A Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel of Memories Funeral Home in Peace River on Monday, July 20 at 2:00 PM.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to A Charity of One’s Choice as expressions of sympathy.
