Judith Karen Davis
It is with profound sadness
and with heavy hearts, the family of Judith Karen Davis (Surrett)
announce her unexpected passing at the age of 77. She was a loving
wife, mother, grandmother, sister and
friend.
Judy will be forever
remembered by her loving husband Doug, her adored children Tim
(Andrea) of Vancouver and Tammy (Donny Gallant) of Moncton. Her
grandchildren were her pride and joy Lexie, Sarah and step
grandchildren Arlen and Ezra.
Preceeded in death by her
parents Guy and Dorothy Surrett (Mann), two brothers (Reid and
Richard), brother in law Reg and sister in law Eleanor. She is
survived by her sister Florence, brothers Vern (Barb), Harvey (Carol),
Jim (Edna). Her in laws Betty (Mitchell) Mountain, Donnie (Lillian)
Davis, and Cheryl Davis (Donnie McCue). Her numerous nieces, nephews,
extended family and dear friends will mourn the loss of such a special
lady.
Over her 30 plus years as an
educator, Judy started hundreds of students on their learning path.
Many will fondly remember Mrs. Davis as their first or second grade
teacher. Judy had a passion for gardening, was an avid
crafter/scrapbooker and loved her church (Mountain View United) where
she was an active volunteer.
Visitation will begin on
Saturday, October 31 from 1 to 3pm at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657
Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995). Masks are required. Funeral will be
held on Sunday November 1st at 2:30pm in Fergusons Funeral Home
Chapel.
