Obituary of Juanita Lynette Wilcox
Age 62, of Hants Border, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 in Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born April 13, 1957 in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Iona E. Oickle.
Juanita enjoyed reading and loved cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Wilcox and son, Jesse Porter; sister, Joan Jack (David Sanford); sister-in-law, Judy Porter; granddaughters, Katy and Stephanie Wilcox; nephews, Trevor and Jeffry Porter and Robin (Lisa) Jack; special uncle and aunt, Brian and Betty Oickle. Besides her mother, Juanita was predeceased by her son, Catlin Jeffery Porter in infancy; and brother, Gary Porter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert Street, Windsor (902-798-8317). A graveside service will be held at a later date in Greenfield Cemetery, Greenfield, Kings Co.
