FREITAS, Jose Chaves (1935 – 2020)
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph
on Monday, November 23, 2020 at age 85 years. Predeceased by
his loving wife Maria (2014). Jose will
be fondly remembered and loved by his family and many
friends. Visitation will be held on
Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Corbett Funeral Home, 95
Dundas Street, N., Cambridge, from 5
– 9 pm. The Funeral
Mass will be held at
St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 210 South Street, Cambridge
on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 11
am. Interment to follow at
Park Lawn Cemetery, Cambridge. Provincial Guidelines are in
place for social distancing and Masks are mandatory for each person in
attendance. To reserve your 15
minutes to meet with the
family at the Funeral Home or attend the
Funeral Mass (Space at Church is limited to 50 people Maximum),
please call the Funeral Home at
519-740-0669 between 9 am and 4:30 pm to register
your name and phone number. Prayers will be
recited at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening at 6 pm.
