Obituary of Jonathan Douglas Groves
After a busy weekend with family, Jon left us suddenly in the early morning of September 21, 2020. Born on December 15, 1987 in New Glasgow, he was the son of Robert and Katherine (Imlay) Groves of Little Harbour.
Jon loved his family, friends, his pugs Frankie and Luna and his work as an ER Nurse. His easy-going nature, ready wit and mischievous grin will be missed by all who knew him.
Jon will be greatly missed by his parents; his loving wife Tascha (Albert); his older siblings Glenn (Georgina), Little Harbour; David (Tambrey), Iowa; Tina (Ian), Toronto; Elizabeth (Adam MacNeil), Amherst; Tonya (Troy Adams), Stewiacke; Chris (Lisa), New Glasgow; special brothers Justin and Nathan; parents-in-law Roland and Linda (Dugan) Albert, Kingston; sisters-in-law Stephanie Albert, Spryfield and Tanya Albert, Kingston; nieces and nephews Robert, Bethany, Heather, Daniel, Henry, Katie, Clayton and Lyla.
Missing him the most, is his beloved three year old son, Flynn, who was his constant companion while Jon was home on medical leave.
There will be no formal service, but a private family gathering will be held at a later date. A trust has been set up on behalf of Flynn at RBC. Anyone wishing to make a donation can at any RBC with account #06662 5034681 or by sending an etransfer to cmgroves75@gmail.com.
