John passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2020 in his 69th year at his home in Kimberley, B.C.
John’s wife and family were his first priority in his life. He owned and operated Terris Diesel Ltd. in Brooks from 1982 until retirement. He was passionate about his work and was born to be a mechanic. John loved camping, quadding with his buddies, fishing, golfing, and boating. John enjoyed a full social life and was loyal to his many friends. In his sunset years he lived his dreams in the mountains of B.C.
He as a beloved husband of Linda (nee Luke) of whom he shared his life with for 48 years. Loving father to Ian Terris (Jenn), and Ryan Terris. Best grandfather in the world to his grandson, Ronin Terris. Loving brother to Marilyn (Bill), Paul (Dianne), Pamela, and Leah (Todd). Cherished Brother-in-law to Janet (Craig). John will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
John was predeceased by his loving son, Johnny Terris, brother Roger Terris, Mother, Elizabeth Terris and Father John Terris. Cremation has taken place.
There will be no services as per John’s request. Donation can be made to your local SPCA in lieu of flowers.
