John Dajczak, 65, of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on October 30, 2020, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born to parents Karol and Helen Dajczak, on July 25, 1955, in Markstay, Ontario. John graduated from Sheridan Technical High School before starting his career as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at INCO where he retired in 2008. Loving husband to wife Carole (nee Sigouin), with whom he spent the last 20 years. John is also survived by his sister Wanda Pepin and brother-in-law Lionel (Ponch). His daughter Pamela Stark (husband Kenneth), son Johnny Dajczak, stepdaughter Melissa Taschereau (husband Cory), and stepson Andrew Gagne. He is also survived by his grandchildren Hailey, Marek, Mackenzie, and Everley, and nephews James, Jeffery, and Jason. John was predeceased by parents Karol and Helen Dajczak. John was known for his love of cars, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and for his willingness to always lend a hand. He was a pillar of strength, and everyone’s rock. To know John, was to love him. He will forever be missed. As per John’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. A small celebration of life will be held at a later date.
