John Leung Sunday November 15th 2020

Mr. John Sze-Kong Leung has gone to be with our Heavenly Father on November 15, 2020. He has lived a full life of 88 years and is now at rest and safe in the arms of Jesus.
Born in Hong Kong, the second son of Mr. Ho-In Leung and Mui-Ching Leung, with five siblings, John grew up in a Christ-centered family. He married Ms. Ada Wan and had two sons. In 1988, John and his family moved to Canada.
John was very involved in church throughout his life. In later years he became more fervent in evangelizing. He visited prisons, preached Gospel in shopping centres, led Bible studies and taught Sunday School.
John lived a modest life, was generous to others and loved the Lord. John developed dementia towards the end of his life. However, even in his last days, he did not stop praying and his love for the Scriptures and hymns did not diminish.
The family is forever grateful for the love and kindness shown by the brothers and sisters at Port Moody Pacific Grace Church and other churches who always remembered John in their prayers. The family also thanks the amazing staff at Guildford Senior Village for taking care of him in his last years.
Due to Covid-19 a service will not be held at this time, but a Celebration of Life will take place after the burial when it is safe to gather freely to share stories.
