HAMILTON, John Herbert – age 76, Yarmouth, passed away accidentally on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 near Lequille, Annapolis Co. Born August 22, 1943 in Lockeport, he was a son of the late Joseph and Jean (Gosling) Hamilton. John worked as a scallop fisherman with Comeau’s Seafood for more than 30 years, having also worked with Laurence Sweeney Fisheries for a time. He is survived by his wife, Margaret A. (Berry) Hamilton and he was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In accordance with John’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth and there will be no visitation or memorial service. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
