Obituary of John Henry Teevins
TEEVINS: Peacefully, at Chartwell Nursing Home, Parkhill, on Monday, December 21, 2020, John Henry Teevins formerly of RR 2, Grand Bend and Stokes Bay, age 86. Beloved husband of the late Sheila Victoria (Schilbe) Teevins (1991). Loved father and father-in-law of Robert “Rob” and Jane Teevins of London, Laura-Lynn and Gary Forbes of Lions Head. Cherished papa of Tyson Forbes and his girlfriend Katie and Connor Forbes and his fiancée Emma. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Pat and Dave Skoyles of Windsor and Marjorie Schilbe of Zurich. Remembered by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Eleanor “Ella” (Tuchlinski) Teevins, brothers Don Teevin, Grant Teevin (Edna), sisters Dorothy Kent (Marvin), Frances Hazelwood (Don), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Doreen Tieman (Russell), Ray Schilbe (Audrey) and Hubert Schilbe. At the request of the family, cremation has taken place. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date with Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the South Huron Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
