Service Details
Mr. John Hammell of Pierson, passed away at the Virden Heath Centre on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the age of 92.
He was predeceased by his loving wife, Pearl; daughter, Betty Hammell; granddaughter, Elizabeth Victoria Hammell; parents, Tom & Veva Hammell; sister, Phyllis (Charlie) Shatford; three brothers-in-law, John Slessor, Harvey Moir, and Chesley Moir.
John is survived by his children: Tom (Pat) of Teulon, Jack (Lynda) of Pierson, Larry (Pat) of Pierson, and Carol (Darcy) Gerow of Souris; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; brother, Ab (Eunice) Hammell of Brandon; two sisters-in-law, Florence Slessor of Hartney and Sharon Moir of Melita.
A private family graveside will take place at the Pierson Cemetery, Pierson, MB. at a later date. (rev.) Heather Sandilands will officiate.
