It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Heaton Scow on October 10, 2020 at the age of 93 years. Joan was born August 13, 1927 to John and Dorothy in Preston England. Joan was predeceased by her beloved husband, a pioneer Judge in BC, Alfred John Scow. Joan will be sadly missed by Winnie, Irene, Karen, Beatrice, Terry, Burgess, Joanne and Ruby.
Joan was a social worker at the children’s hospital in her early days. She will be remembered for her loving nature, patience, kindness, warmth, and for being a fun-loving individual with a love for caring for others.
She enjoyed living life to the fullest and we find comfort in knowing she is in heaven watching over us.
