1940-2020
The death of Joan Clark of Bath, NB occurred on Monday, July 27, 2020
at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Joan was born
September 24, 1940 in Bath, NB and was the daughter of the late
Raymond and Mary (Kearney) DeMerchant. Besides her parents, Joan was
also predeceased by 1 sister, Helen Grant (Harold) and 1 brother,
Thomas DeMerchant.
Joan is survived by her loving husband, Floyd; 5 children, William
DeMerchant of Edmonton, AB, Rhonda Crain (Kevin) of Johnville, NB,
Kimberley Clark, Floyd Clark (Shelley) and Natalie Knuff (Kris) all of
Ontario; 7 grandchildren, Tasha, Chantelle, Floyd, Julie, Jacob,
Nicholas, Zachary and Erik; 6 great grandchildren, Cheyanne, Alyssa,
Taylor, Cory, Malakai and Kaylin; 5 siblings, Maude DeMerchant,
Raymond DeMerchant (Doreen), Brenda Arsenault (Ronald), Linda
Butterfield (Dwight) and Peggy MacDonald (Charles) as well as many
nieces, nephews and extended family.
An informal gathering on Saturday, August 1, 2020 will be held at
Rhonda’s home, 573 Rte 565 Johnville to Celebrate Joan’s Life. For
those who wish memorial donations made to the New Brunswick Heart and
Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the
arrangements.
